KA Series Vertical Machining Centers

The high-speed, compact, and cost-effective KA series vertical machining centers represent a new line in the KAFO product line. The main differences between this series and the high-speed CV and DV series machines are:

New design solutions for the machine column with an enlarged cross-section and high rigidity.
The machine comes standard with all optional equipment.
Increased Y-axis travel.
Feed rates reach up to 36 m/min, and the spindle delivers sufficient power and torque at speeds up to 12,000 rpm. To achieve these parameters, the machines are equipped with high-precision ball screws and roller guides on all axes. The machine body of this series consists of cast components: the bed, column, milling headstock, and table, all made of high-strength cast iron for high rigidity and shock resistance. The machine's components—the CNC system, ball screws, electronics, and bearings—are manufactured in Japan and Taiwan and are high-quality and durable. The machines are capable of withstanding high dynamic loads throughout their entire service life and maintaining high precision and reliability.
