The TIMTOS Machine Tool Show 2019 has come to the end

The largest machine tool exhibition, TIMTOS, held in Taipei from March 4 to 9, 2019, has concluded. Although the exhibition is the third-largest industry event in the world, the diversity and innovation of the equipment on display captivated even the most discerning visitors. The exhibition showcased the full diversity of Taiwan's machine tool industry, featuring equipment across all possible product lines. Taiwan is currently the fourth-largest machine tool exporter in the world and plays a key role in the highly competitive global market. From January to December 2018, Taiwan's machine tool industry recorded over $3.6 billion in exports, an increase of 9.5% year-on-year.

International companies also attended the exhibition, both at national exhibit booths and as standalone exhibitors. The exhibition is held every two years and is a significant event for both Taiwanese manufacturers and machine tool builders worldwide. This year, the exhibit was spread across three thematic halls for the convenience of visitors. Hall 1, at the Nangang Exhibition Center, showcased metalworking equipment; Hall 2, located opposite, showcased components, CNC systems, and tooling; and Hall TWTC Hall 1 and Hall 3, located in close proximity to Taipei's main landmark, the Taipei 101 Tower, showcased sheet metal bending machines, pipe bending machines, pressing equipment, laser and plasma cutting, and more.

The equipment presented at TIMTOS is distinguished by its high quality and can compete with similar equipment from European manufacturers, boasting its main competitive advantage—lower, so-called "Asian prices."

For our employees, attending the TIMTOS exhibition is an excellent opportunity to meet with regular partners, make new business contacts, and stay up-to-date on industry developments.
