The 5-sided machining series features a reinforced structure, improved machine body strength, the ability to use vertical and horizontal spindle and tool positions, automatic tool changers, high-strength gear drives for the vertical and horizontal spindles, and a hard-cutting mode. This allows the machines to achieve high efficiency and produce complex parts with high quality and precision.

The RV series is a gantry machining center with an automatic exchange system for the 5-sided machining series. Various types of additional automatic angle change heads are available (90° milling head, 45° universal head, sliding head, etc.). Standard equipment includes a vertical/horizontal tool magazine and an optional multi-channel automatic switching system. The head tilt angle has a -5° index, which already ensures high accuracy as standard, and an index of 1/2.5° or a CTS function is also available. These machining centers are used in machining all types of large castings, structural parts, semiconductor cavities, molds, aluminum parts, and in the aerospace industry.

An integrated hydraulic cylinder in the additional head allows tool changes in any position.
The head storage area is specially designed and does not occupy workspace. The storage area for the heads and the tool magazine are reliably protected by a special metal sheet (protective screen).
