GMC is a series of high-speed, rigid vertical machining centers with slideways.

The key feature of the GMC series machining centers is their robust, rigid design and hardened and ground slideways. The advantages of this system include its simplicity and compact design. These slideways offer high load capacity, rigidity, and shock absorption. The slideways are equipped with additional Turcite-B (an antifriction polymer material) liners manufactured in the USA to reduce wear on friction parts, minimize the risk of stick-slip at low travel speeds, lower the coefficient of friction, and provide improved damping properties—the ability to dampen vibrations arising from adjacent structures that affect the quality and accuracy of surface finishes and the service life of the tool. Another distinctive feature of the large GMC series machines is the presence of four patented guides along the x-axis, which ensure smooth table movement, eliminate precision loss due to uneven table loads, and ensure high productivity and uniform workpiece weight distribution. Another important feature is the machines' comprehensive cooling system, which includes internal cooling for the machine spindle, ball screws, and a water-based cooling system for the machining area.
